This collaboration brings together the expertise and resources of both organisations to combat myopia progression in children and to help protect their vision for the future.

By combining the optical innovation prowess of EssilorLuxottica and the clinical expertise of SCEH - the Myopia Excellence Centre will be at the forefront of myopia research, education, and treatment. It will provide a holistic approach to myopia management, utilising advanced diagnostic tools, advanced lens solutions, and personalized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each child.
The Myopia Excellence Centre dedicated towards detection, education, counselling, dispensing and follow up will be supported by a team of renowned ophthalmologists and optometrists, who specialise in myopia management. This multidisciplinary team will collaborate closely with patients to provide tailored treatment plans, monitor myopia progression, and offer innovative solutions to slow down its advancement.
