KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), Mahadevapura, has announced the launch of the Institute of Neurosciences and Centre of Excellence in Neuromodulation, marking a significant step in advancing specialised neurological care in the region.
The state-of-the-art facility aims to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for a wide range of neurological disorders under one roof.
This newly launched centre is designed to address the needs of patients with various neurological conditions. These include Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and chronic pain. It is designed to offer the latest treatment options, including neuromodulation and minimally invasive surgery. It is a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.
The centre also hosts an event in observance of World Parkinson’s Day on April 11th, Celebrating the Strength of Patients Living with Parkinson’s Disease. As part of this initiative, the hospital is focusing on Parkinson’s disease as part of the World Parkinson’s Day awareness programme. This program is aimed at patients as well as caregivers, where the importance of early diagnosis and intervention is emphasised.
