Equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, and advanced infection-controlled units

ShardaCare-Healthcity, the largest super-specialty hospital in Greater Noida, has announced the inauguration of North India’s largest Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Centre, marking a significant milestone in advanced tertiary care in the region.

The centre was formally inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, Brajesh Pathak, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, medical experts, and leadership from Sharda Group.

The newly launched BMT Centre at ShardaCare-Healthcity is designed to deliver comprehensive, world-class care for patients suffering from complex hematological conditions such as leukemia, lymphoma, thalassemia, aplastic anemia, and other life-threatening blood disorders.

Equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, advanced infection-controlled units, and a multidisciplinary team of highly experienced specialists, the centre sets a new benchmark for bone marrow transplant services in North India.

The centre will provide comprehensive bone marrow transplant services for both pediatric and adult patients, including matched sibling, matched unrelated donor, and haploidentical transplants. It will also offer autologous BMT for autoimmune conditions, particularly multiple sclerosis, backed by high-dose and induction therapies, targeted treatments, immunotherapies, advanced graft manipulation, and CAR-T cell therapy.

Equipped with dedicated HEPA-filtered transplant units for strict infection control, the centre also offers advanced diagnostics and immunology support for accurate donor matching and close monitoring. With expertise across autologous, allogeneic, and haploidentical transplants, along with integrated critical care, oncology, and hematology services under one roof, the facility is designed to deliver safe, seamless, and patient-centric care focused on better outcomes and recovery.

What distinguishes ShardaCare-Healthcity’s BMT Centre is its scale, robust clinical protocols, and ability to provide end-to-end transplant care within a single integrated ecosystem, making advanced transplant services more accessible while reducing dependence on metro cities. A large number of adults continue to remain undiagnosed or live with long-term complications due to late detection. Among children, the challenge is equally concerning, with more than one in four aged 0 to 12 years suspected of having a blood disorder being diagnosed with inherited haemoglobin diseases and over half of them are below the age of three.
